Komen Amarillo hires Mission Coordinator

The Greater Amarillo Affiliate would like to announce that JESSICA TUDYK has joined their organization as the new Mission Coordinator (Grants and Education).  Jessica was born and raised in Canyon.  She graduated from Baylor University with her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Community Health and Health Education.  She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).  Jessica will be responsible for oversight of the affiliate’s education programs, community outreach, advocacy, and grant administration.

Congratulations 2013 - 2014 Grant Recipients

Determined to save lives and end breast cancer forever, the Greater Amarillo Affiliate of Susan G. Komen ® has awarded 3 grants totaling $223,000 for programs providing breast cancer services in the Panhandle area. This year's recipients are The Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Foundation, Moore County Hospital District and The Amarillo Area Breast Health Coalition.
