The Harington Breast Center has earned the designation of Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. The American College of Radiology has determined that the Harrington Breast Center has achieved high practice standards in image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs.  To become a Breast Center of Excellence you must be ACR accredited in Breast Ultrasound, Breast Stereotactic Biopsy and Mammography. Harrington's next goal is to receive accreditation in Breast MRI. .

The Harrington Breast Center is the only breast imaging center in the Amarillo area to achieve this designation.
