The Foundation was established on January 2, 2013. The Foundation's mission is to reduce the burden of cancer and promote and serve the healthcare needs of residents living in Amarillo and surrounding communities.  HCHF has a strong partnership with Harrington Breast Center (HBC).  HCHF received grant funds to ensure that invididuals who live in the Panhandle who are uninsured or underinsured can have access to screening mammography and diagnostic testing if needed.  HBC strives to serve every woman who walks through their door regardless of their ability to pay.  Komen funds ensure that women who would otherwise not be able to afford it can still get the screening and diagnstic testing they need.  More information about HCHF can be found at www.hcfamarillo.org and more information about HBC can be found at www.harringtonbreastcenter.org
